Overseas Ministry
Overseas Ministry: African Bible University
Supporting The ministry in Uganda
In 2009, Grace Bible Church expanded its outreach internationally to Uganda. The church partnered with Tim and Cheri Hoke, who are members of the faculty of African Bible University, to train ministers in the Reformed faith. Additionally, Grace Bible Church gives funds to support Christian radio outreach and train local teachers to provide a better education to Ugandan children.
Academic Training of Local Pastors & More
In addition to supporting African Bible University’s efforts to train local pastors, the church supplies ABU students with Bibles and reformed literature.
"Cheri and I are so very thankful for Grace Bible Church's continued help as we 'Teach the Treasures of God's Truth' and 'Train Servant Leaders for Christ at African Bible University in Uganda. Grace Bible Church was our first supporting church and has faithfully partnered with us since 2009."

Overseas Ministry: The Congo
Outreach To the DRC & local pygmy tribes
In 2014 Grace Bible Church partnered with Upoki, a graduate of African Bible University, to sponsor a number of local efforts in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to advance God’s Kingdom:
1. Establish a local church and train local pastors in the Congo
2. Build a medical clinic for local women to safely give birth
3. Start a school for local Pygmy children in support of the tribal leaders’ vision to educate their children
Motorcycle Ministry in the forest
With the support of the church, Upoki purchased a motorcycle and has been preaching the gospel throughout the Congo & to the local pygmy tribes. Additionally, he has accomplished his goal of building a local church in Bunia.
"The ministry in the Congo is very thankful to God for Grace Bible Church and the gifts they send from their love for Christ to expand and strengthen the kingdom in Bunia and forests of DRC. We are so thankful for the saints at GBC for improving the ministry in the Congo, and the spiritual capacity of DRC pastors to improve their churches which God has given them to care for through training them in leadership."
